| The Mighty, Bootle |
Well the first day of rehearsals are upon us and we’re immediately off to a flying start!
The team started the day with a quick meeting to get reacquainted with all the members and to clarify the roles each person was to undertake. Once everyone had finished their breakfast and all the gear was packed up safely, it was off to The Mighty in Bootle for the technical team to set up the space ready for when the wall, a huge 10m by 10m perforated steel floating stage suspended by crane, arrived later today.
The performers stayed behind in the Higher Space to start the daunting task of getting up to scratch physically for the show. The aerialists will need to be at their physical peak to cope with the demands of the choreography and the tilting, rotating wall that leaves little opportunity for rest, and will prove highly challenging to even the most experienced of aerialists.

Later, after a quick tour of the Mighty for the rest of team, and kitting out the massive warehouse with the necessities, it was back to the Higher Space for the performers to continue their training and it was full steam ahead for the climbers and rigging team when our immense wall arrived ready for installation.
Spirits are high, and the whole team are enthusiastic to get moving on this thrilling project- exciting times!
