Hi everyone!
Apologies to start, I didn’t manage to get up a blog last week because I had complete tunnel vision working on our new promo video! To make it up to you, I’ve popped together a quick blooper reel, mainly consisting of Rob, ahahaha, sorry love! Completely hilarious, so do take a gander!
The promo is up now on our Youtube channel if you want to take a look, which of course you do, if you haven’t already- and if you already have, oh, go watch it again, it doesn’t get old! WATCH NOW!
It’s 4 minutes of tasty Wiredness, that slaps you across the face with what we’re all about as a company, and will be included with our info packs that we’ll be sending out to prospective clients etc- and ultimately, it’ll be included on a Wired DVD that I’m working on (on the back boiler, so hushhh), and as usual, you’ll hear it here first when that’s available.
We were in our hometown of Liverpool this weekend for 2 shows of As the World Tipped, which went down fantastically! I’ve included a beautiful shot, courtesy of Andy Miah, whom I can’t thank enough for sharing with us. We’ve been getting some wonderful feedback from the weekend, and I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to support us, it means so much to us all.
I’m holding the fort by myself today as the team have already headed off to Stockton to set up for the performance tomorrow. We’re proud to be launching this years Stockton International Riverside Festival with As the World Tipped, being performed tomorrow at 9.45pm on the High Street. If you’re in the area do come along, as always it’ll be awesome!
In the meantime, you can still get a fix of Wired by tuning in to BBC Tees at 4.20pm this afternoon (less than an hour away, gogogo!) and keep an ear out for our very own Artistic Director Wendy Hesketh-Ogilvie, who will be dropping in for a chat on air. If you can’t get to a radio or online (where you can listen live here) then make sure you switch over to BBC Look Northwest tomorrow evening between 6.30-7pm and you’ll catch her there instead! And if you miss THAT, which lets face it, you’d have to be pretty unlucky to manage to miss both, but still it could happen- you can get back on the good old wireless and have a listen to local radio station Tyne Tees between 6-6.30pm tomorrow for your last chance to hear Wendy’s thoughts on the show.
That’s about it from me. I’ll be back next week with the news on our latest addition to the Wired family – that’s right, the auditions are over, and we have a brand spanking new twirly! Woohoo!
Have a great week everyone!
