Morning all!
I thought I’d get my weekly hi there and hello posted early today then I can get cracking on my latest vid project “The Making of As the World Tipped”- not a wholly original or creative title, but I’ll think of a better one before it’s finished :p
Hopefully it’ll be a nostalgic waltz down memory lane for the team, and an engaging resource for anyone that’s interested in how such a unique and daring show came about. As per usual I’ve got a completely unrealistic deadline, so I’ll be pulling my hair out for the next couple of weeks getting it all done in time- so bear with me on the email front, imma do mah best folks! As usual, you’ll hear it here first as soon as anything is posted, so stay tuned!

While you’re waiting, go check out our YouTube channel and see if anything else catches your eye- and don’t forget Mand does love her little thumbs ups- so rate, subscribe, and comment; then there shall be free punch and pie for everyone!
If you weren’t at the Xtrax festival in Manchester this weekend, then you missed out, big time! From what I hear the venue was stunning, and everyone had a complete ball! Wendy dropped me a line to post about her thoughts from the weekend…

“Well, Manchester Castlefields Arena went incredibly well! The audience was one of our best EVER!!! Applause after each section, and rapturous applause at the end. Felt like we had brought it home (after all there are a lot of Manchester based artists in our team).
We felt really loved and supported by both audience and of course Xtrax who treated us like royalty the whole time – thank you Xtrax and particularly Maggie for making our stay so wonderful.
Well done Hannah – her first performance of the tour and she was fantastic – a real treat to be on the wall performing with her. Engaging, focused and incredibly dedicated – a tough job but accomplished, ticked off and done very very well.
There’s been several booking enquiries from the Platform 4 festival so next years tour is looking stronger than ever!”
Great news! Wish I’d been there, but I’m planning to go support the team at the Kendal show coming up in September instead- always been a fan of that places’ mint cake, nomnom! Can’t wait to see the show for the first time, watching the videos and seeing all the photos doesn’t do it justice!
Speaking of which, I’d like to thank this weeks photographers extraordinaire for their beautiful images. Big shout out to Robert and Adam, awesome shots guys! As always, to see more of their work click the links under the images, well worth a peruse!
That’s all from me this week, it’s back to the editing suite now to make some cinematic magic, wish me luck!
Till next time, take care all and see you next week!
