AS THE WORLD TIPPED : WORLD PREMIERE TONIGHT!!!

Ok ok, so I couldn't stop myself from blogging again, but its just TOO EXCITING!

There's just a couple of hours before the show starts, but we still have time for a quick update from our reporter in the field Connor Quill, who is being our fly on the wall this weekend (get it? fly on the wall? ok I'll stop now).  Take it away Connor...

Here is the final blog of what has been my time with Wired. What an amazing time I have had, It's been utterly amazing and I have learned so much, more than I feel I could ever have at university :)
Thanks to everyone for making it such a wonderful experience and all the best to everyone to the rest of the tour.

So the day of the premiere is finally upon us!
Last nights dress rehearsal went amazingly and although the temperature dropped quite drastically after the sun went down the spirits and energy was higher than ever.  While the stage was 8 meters in the air, those few spectators and the team who were observing were blessed with an omen- a shooting star flying through the night sky right over the top of the stage.  It is truly a sign that this show is going to be utterly amazing.

The heat has been blazing today and the team are fighting to stay hydrated whilst making the final adjustments to the props and choreography.  The crowds started to gather on his lovely Saturday in Eaton Park to watch the final rehearsal of the curtain call.  You could hear the murmurs of  “What is it Daddy?” and “Wow, that looks scary!” One child even approached the production team to ask “Can I have a go?” but unfortunately health and safety regulations wouldn’t allow it.

The team had a final gathering in the local café to look over the footage of last nights dress rehearsal to see what little, if any, adjustments needed to be made to ensure that this show is as brilliant as possible.  The buzz on site is immense as every one comes to the realisation that all these months of preparation, hard work and imagination are about to pay off.

Tonight at 10:15pm in Eaton Park, Norwich, Wired Aerial Theatre will premiere ‘As The World Tipped’ – Written and directed by Nigel Jamieson.

This show will go down in history with Wired, all who have been involved and every person who witnesses it as an truly amazing aerial theatre show…….

An amazing accomplishment!
Break a leg guys!
