Australia Ahoy!

Well hello there!  It’s a while since we’ve spoken last- how’ve you been?!  I hope all your Christmases were very merry and of course Happy New Year!  It’s been a busy busy December for Wired, getting ready to go to Australia, preparing for classes to begin again at Edge Hill, and of course organizing all the workshops for you lucky recipients of the Wired Christmas Bundle!  Of course, Laura and I have gotten to do all the most exciting stuff right here in the good old UK, while the poor twirlies get shipped off to Australia to endure a few weeks in the sun…but at least they’re sending us photos to rub it in- thanks team! Hehehe.

Smug much?!
Wendy and Jamie, our Artistic and Technical Directors for those of you who don’t know, flew out to Oz the day after Boxing Day, and have been taking in as much of the sights as they can- visiting the Blue Mountains, Darling Harbour, sampling the amazing sea food at the fish market, watching the New Year's Eve fireworks with friends at a private party right below the Sydney Harbour Bridge and moving into their city apartments, acclimating to the new surroundings so they were best prepared to support and lead the rest of the team after their arrival yesterday.

By this time, everyone will be hard at work preparing for the first show.  Performing this Saturday (7th Jan), it marks the opening of the Sydney Festival, and after our awesome stage makes its trademark tip and concludes our show, it transforms into a live action screen, broadcasting footage from the city's other sites!

I can’t wait to hear more from the team, and I’ll certainly do my best to get hold of some film to share some of the action from over there with you, but for today that’s your lot!  Teehee!

It was smiles all round for the team as they arrived in Sydney.
Be sure to visit our website and check out the diary page for workshops and classes we have coming up- there’s no need to feel blue now Christmas has gone, instead get on down to The Higher Space and bounce yourself happy, and back into shape for that matter- I know I’m not the only one that’s overdone the mince pies this year, own up now, I know you’re out there!

Have a great week everyone, and I’ll see you soon!

I would want to thank you for the quality of the show, and I am grateful to you, Writter and Comediens, to have served a so strong message with all your talent and your imagination.
The show is incerdible, amazing, and at the end we are not completely the same than as the beginning...
